About the Counseling Center

Oakwood Counseling Center was established through prayer and a desire to provide Christ-centered professional counseling to Oakwood, New Braunfels, and the surrounding communities. Our Counseling Director and licensed contract counselors offer a program that is clinically professional and distinctly Christian. Each counselor is a dedicated Christian who incorporates a strong balance of both spiritual and clinical care, and each utilizes and teaches proven biblical principles that relate to difficult life situations and issues. Treatment includes an initial assessment and evaluation, followed by individual, marital, and/or family counseling. Our mission is to cooperate with God in the healing of body, soul, and spirit alongside our clients.

Because we believe that God is always involved in the solution, our goal is to help people utilize and build on their faith. Our counselors represent many Christian denominations, and present scriptural truths that are non-denominational in nature and substance.

We believe that the Bible is “inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

Oakwood Counseling Center is committed to providing professional counseling at rates that are affordable:

Individual Counseling $90 / 50 minute session
Marital or Family Counseling $100 / 50 minute session

We accept all major credit cards. We do not accept insurance.

Should you have need of counseling, please give us a call, or send an email. Should you choose to use email, a verbal intake will be necessary to gather personal information, availability, and concerns. Our counselors can work flexible hours, and some are able to offer evening appointments.
