As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Laurie is concerned with the whole person: physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. She has over 20 years of experience in international ministry and mental health counseling. She has served overseas in a school setting as well as inpatient psychiatric hospital, adolescent residential and outpatient counseling settings. She works with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, self-harm, stress, low self-esteem, transition and women’s issues as well as various types of trauma. She utilizes a combination of Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Attachment theories in her practice. Laurie gave her life to Christ through a campus ministry in college, and she enjoys integrating Biblical and clinical perspectives in counseling.
